The majority of ILDA's work is conducted through committees composed of Member volunteers. We always welcome new volunteers!
Please contact the committee chair listed below for more information about committee activities or to find out how you can participate. You can write to the Committee chairs by searching the ILDA online directory for their name (or if they are not the company contact, search for their company's name).
Richard Gonsalves, Individual Member
Oversees the artistic, technical and Career Achievement awards. Includes criteria, determining artistic categories, rules, coordinating entries, judging, creating the physical awards given out each year, and producing the Awards Banquet.

Not currently active; developed the ILDA Code of Business Ethics, and a proposed “ILDA Certified” seal for products.
Christine Jenkin, LaserNet
Help improve the programs presented at each year’s ILDA Conference. Increase participation by manufacturers in the conference's Trade Show. Set up seminars that will be helpful and informative. Also helps set policies for any ILDA participation in other trade shows such as PALME and LDI.
(NOTE: The C&TS Committee does not exclusively run the ILDA Conference; this is done in conjunction with the hosting Member. However, this Committee does significant work in organizing and managing the programs that ILDA presents at the Conference.)

Responds to regulatory changes and makes suggestions for improvements in laser safety laws and rules. Primarily works on U.S. issues due to the expertise of the members of this committee.

All aspects of laser safety, including government regulations, audience safety, and aircraft safety.
